About Solarig
Solarig facilitates and develops the infrastructure needed for the worlds energy transition, and builds, operates and financially structures large-scale renewable energy projects. It currently manages more than 10 GW of photovoltaic assets in 12 countries. The company drives global decarbonisation where it operates through renewable energy, green gas solutions and sustainable fuels.
As a global company we carry out the engineering, construction, procurement and commissioning of turnkey projects, performing all the activities and processes of an EPC contractor. We have built more than 1,000 MW worldwide, being specialise in the most efficient, flexible and competitive solutions on the market.
We also offer comprehensive renewable asset services, including operation and maintenance, technical asset management, digital and technical service. We have 20 GWp in international operations and are Wood Mackenzie's fourth-ranked O&M company in the world.

Solarig was born in the emerging environment of photovoltaic energy in 2005. Thanks to our experience in large renewable energy infrastructure projects, our business model, and different approaches to opportunities, we are uniquely positioned today to lead the energy transition as an integrated energy company.

Nearly 20 years producing clean, sustainable energy
Solarig was born in the environment favourable to the development of photovoltaic energy in Spain in 2005. By then, different business models and different approaches to the opportunity created a universe of actors with complementary visions with a common goal: sustainable development towards the energy transition.
We set up Energías Alternativas Solarig, dedicated to investing in photovoltaic plants for the sale of electricity in Spain. We connected our first plant in Spain in 2005 (Tozalmoro) and in Bastia (Italy) in 2010. We started to build, operate and maintain our projects by creating business units specialised in these activities.
During this period we connected the first photovoltaic plant in France and achieved the development of 50 MW in Spain and Italy. During these years, we carried out our first development projects in the United Kingdom and Japan, the latter being the first project outside Europe.
Solarig Global Services was created in 2016 with the vision of being a benchmark in achieving Grid Parity through the development, construction and grid connection of large-scale renewable energy projects. We started developing projects in Spain and Italy and our portfolio in these countries exceeds 2 GW.
We developed our international portfolio in Australia, Mexico, the UK and Chile. We reached an agreement with Alantra to launch a 1.9 GW photovoltaic vehicle. We also set up Biorig to develop biomethane plants and built a team of more than 1,000 professionals.
